About Us

About Nis Ts’edilh Elders and Youth Wellness Society

Nis Ts’edilh Elders and Youth Wellness Society is a British Columbia society established to promote and facilitate safe community-based services for Indigenous people in British Columbia, particularly Elders and youth, with a focus on traditions, culture, relationship to traditional lands, and unique community needs.

The Society also supports truth and reconciliation, traditional health and wellness, sports, recreation, hunting, gathering, athletics for Indigenous youth, and Indigenous-led projects and endeavours that benefit Indigenous people in British Columbia.

What We Do

• Support Elder wellness programs and gatherings

• Create opportunities for youth recreation, athletics, and cultural learning

• Promote traditional health and wellness initiatives

• Encourage land-based learning and connection to traditional lands

• Support truth and reconciliation efforts

• Assist Indigenous-led community projects and initiatives
